It Began with a Gift Rice Memorial Hospital was built through the generous gift of a trust to the city of Willmar from Colonel Cushman Rice in memory of his parents, Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Albert Rice. Rice Health Foundation carries on the tradition of caring by using your gifts to enhance health and wellness care in the community. Rice Health Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that raises philanthropic support for the Rice organization to address community health needs, enhance patient care, and provide health education. Building on Tradition You deserve to have the most technologically advanced health care available - close to home. It is the mission of Rice Memorial Hospital to deliver a broad range of services for you. Charitable support provides the margin of excellence in healthcare that area residents have come to expect from Rice Memorial Hospital. Building on the tradition of the Rice family's generosity, the contributions of community members allow Rice Health Foundation to assist Rice Memorial Hospital in the development of new services, as well as the continued advancement and improvement of current services. There is community pride in having a regional hospital that offers a healing environment, professional and expert staff, and provider groups that are dedicated to excellent care to patients and their families. Gifts to the Foundation provide programs, services, and ammenities that make your health and wellness experience as comfortable as it can be. You can feel the Rice difference from the moment you step in the door. Gifts to the Foundation are an investment in health and wellness care. They make good things possible for our community. |
