In fiscal year 2008, more than $179,363 was awarded to Rice memorial Hospital programs and the community Rice serves through grants made possible by your donations to Rice Health Foundation endowments. These programs support and enhance the healthcare mission of Rice Memorial Hospital, while improving the health and well-being of our community in west central Minnesota. Rice Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation - Software supports staff's ability to safely, efficiently, and effectively assess and monitor patients.	Willmar Community Senior Network - Volunteers serving elders, ensuring that they are able to remain at home, safe, healthy, and in the community.	Rice Education - Offering printed educational resources in additional languages.

Rice Rehabilitation Center - Specialized therapy service providing functional visual skills and visual information processing for children.	Rice Rehabilitation Center - Specialized therapy service providing proper management of concussions and preventing further serious injury, utilizing a software program with baseline and post injury testing.	Rice Nursing - This technology makes it possible to transfer patient's vital signs results directly to the electronic medical record.	Willmar Area Parish Nurse Network Program - Educational offering for parish nurses, pastors, and community health professionals.	Ridgewater College - Collaborative efforts that transform the education of healthcare workers in our region.
Gillette Mobile Outreach Clinic - Willmar	Expansion of Lactation Services	Low Vision Services
Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare - Gillette staff members deliver services directly to individuals with disabilities in our community.	Rice Women's and Children's Department - Expansionof services increases bedside assistance, consultation, and education.	Rice Rehabilitation Center - Specialized services and equipment for individuals with visual impairments and who are experiencing difficulty reading and/or performing daily living skills.
Theatre for Social Skill Development in Youth with Autism	Caregiver Support & Respite Program	Lymphedema Therapist Training
Greater Minnesota Family Services - The free theatre program is testing the ability for theatre activities to build social skills in youth with autism.
	Lutheran Social Services - Caregiver workshops, in-home respite, and support groups to caregivers.	Rice Rehabilitation Center - Specially trained therapy staff offer treatment to patients with lymphedema.
	Exercise-Pro Software Program for Therapy Exercises	Medical Equipment Loan Program
	Rice Rehabilitation Center - Comprehensive therapy program provides patients with exercise illustrations and written educational materials specific to their individual needs, available in different languages and understanding levels.	Goodwill / Easter Seals of Minnesota - The program offers free use of medical equipment to anyone with a temporary need.
